The July 2008 issue of the Italian magazine MusicaJazz carries a feature on the work of Mike Westbrook plus a compilation CD of Westbrook tracks specially selected by the editor Filippo Bianchi. The CD is entitled Fields and Forms, and its cover reproduces a painting by Kate Westbrook. The selection, which includes two previously unissued tracks, is drawn from over 30 years of recording. The twelve tracks will be featured in sequence on this page at westbrookjazz over the coming months. [listen below]
